The Folding Bird House by Jesper Moller Hansen and Dorthe Weis is easily one of the best looking I’ve ever seen. Your yard would be the hottest feeder in town! Maybe you could even charge for reservations.
I’m quite literally salivating as I look at this Warm Strawberry Crumb Cake. Cake batter mixed with fresh strawberries and baked until the fruit is all warm and jam-like… what’s not to love?
I’m on a colorful kick today and really digging the packaging for Peeled Snacks! I like how the color is the real star of each pouch design. Seems like a good product, too, gluten free and high fiber for those of you watching.
Have you seen the Ben Collection by late Savannah College of Art and Design professor and illustrator Ben Morris? Because wow, I’m a big fan. The collection includes Fashion Plates (by Working Class Studio), dinner plates, bowls, tumblers and coasters. Every piece is so fun and summery thanks to the bright mix-n-match colors and patterns. :: via Hostess with the Mostess
With a blush I have to admit that I’m a fruit soup virgin! It’s not that I’m some sort of soup purist, I’ve just never had to opportunity to try it before. A dessert soup – like this Spiced Strawberry Soup with mint cream and choco-nut crisps – is something I could totally endorse!
I’m envisioning a fireplace full of these Silver Birch Candles. Or a mantle. Or a dining room table. Wherever they land, they’re sure to make a pretty statement.
The show-stopper in this light-filled living room is that rose hued sofa. That’s right sofa, not couch. The tapered legs and architectural design automatically put it into the former category. I love that it’s the only bit of color in the room, while all the white draws your attention directly into its grasp. I’ve only recently been turned on to curtains being hung at ceiling level as opposed to the top of the window casing. And this is the perfect example of how that sort of treatment can make a room feel that much bigger. What else can I say? The poof-like stools that are all similar but with different designs, the structurally simple coffee table… when can I move in?
Ideally I would mix up a pitcher of these Strawberry Basil Mojitos and sit in my backyard with a few friends chatting until the sun was long past set. In reality it will probably be me sitting in my living room with the AC blasting and watching The Bachelorette or Wipeout. The only constant: the cocktail of course!
Ingredients: – 3 fresh strawberries – 3-5 fresh basil leaves – 2 oz. simple syrup – 2 oz. white rum – crushed ice – club soda
Slice the strawberries and place at the bottom of a tall glass along with the basil leaves. Pour in the simple syrup and muddle the mixture. Stir in the rum and top with crushed ice. Top off with club soda and garnish with strawberry slices.
One – or five – of these Strawberry Mascarpone Scones with Honey Milk Glaze would go oh-so-nicely with the steaming mug of coffee that’s sitting in front me at the moment. Anyone have one to spare? Pretty please?
Snail mail is underrated and it seems like Paperwink is doing everything in their power to make it awesome once more. From cards to stationary to invitations and beyond they have us covered. But what’s really catching my eye are their incredibly well designed address labels and address stamps. So many great designs to choose from that it’s almost stressing me out! These right here are only a few of my favorites…
