Falksalt.

The Falksalt site is in Swedish a forgeign language (German perhaps?), so all I can really discern is how pretty the packaging is and that it’s most likely delicious. Both of which are quite enough for me.

The Daily Eat: Tzadziki.

Tzadziki is a Greek dish that wears many hats as a dip, appetizer and salad. Which is a very good thing because it’s easy to make and perfect for hot summer days. Try serving it up with some pita bread and feta for an easy summer meal. (Pssst… it’s pretty low in calories, too!)

Hammock Hangout.

Yes please. I would gladly climb into this pimped out hammock with a book, a blanket and some tea. I’m loving the idea of complete outdoor rooms these days. My miniscule backyard is about to be fenced in for some privacy and I’m scheming all sorts of ways to make it an extension of my home.

On the Rocks: The Vipera.

The Vipera is a heavily-infused pear vodka and applejack cocktail that’s sure to get the party hoppin’… even if it’s just you alone in your living room watching the Lost season finale tonight!

Ingredients:
– 2 oz pear infused Herradura Silver Tequila
– 1/2 oz yellow chartreuse
– 1/2 oz applejack bonded

Stir over cracked ice and strain into an A/P coupe or martini glass. Garnish with a thin pear slice.

Pear Infused Tequila:
Take 3 Bartlett pears and 1 Granny Smith Apple, cut into cubes (peels, cores, & all). Add 2 cloves and one cinnamon stick and one liter of Herradura Silver Tequila. Store in a glass container for 6 days, shaking it periodically. Then double strain all the fruit and spices out and keep refrigerated.

Hotcup.

Hotcup is a porcelain cup and saucer that works together to keep your beverage, well, hot. The saucer is quite literally wrapped around the cup and functions as an insulator. So delicate and pretty.

Revelry Vinters.

Can’t say that I’ve ever turned down a box of wine. But this box of vino from Revelry Vinters is extraordinary. Not to mention space saving or the fact that you’d be proud if someone saw it kicked back in your fridge. And the fact that the company actually cares a good deal about how their wine is packaged is a total turn on.

Can Strainer.

A can strainer. It allows you to drain canned goods with one hand while keeping everything in the can instead of going down the drain. And loads better than using the ragged metal lid you’ve just cut off. Simple design that every kitchen needs. Is it wrong that I’m considering using my cocktail shaker strainer in the meantime?
