I’ve never been much of a hat girl, though I have plenty of aspirations. Last year I finally began to embrace cool weather loving wide brimmed hats so who knows, maybe snapbacks are next? Of course this style has been around for ages in sports, but lately I’m noticing more and more designs with a nod towards fashion.
Here’s a brilliant piece of smart design for you – Ring Soap by Sebastian Bergne. It’s a bar of soap that hangs on a peg, thereby helping it stay drier and slowing its consumption. (Not to mention that it makes for some nice visual design at the same time.)

My go-to is a striped chambray backpack that I scored on sale last fall, it’s versatile enough to carry along on a hike or use as a weekend bag. Check out these thirteen backpacks that are both modern and functional.

Crushing on these beautiful structural bags by Building Block. The LA-based brand was created in 2011 with the intent of clearing away conventional standards of luxury by magnifying what is essential and editing out excess. I’d say they’ve stayed true to their mission and love what that means for the rest of us.
