I’ve been experiencing a resurgence of my love for geology the past few weeks. While home for Christmas I bought a three inch tall piece of rough-cut quartz, then while traveling home from Salt Lake City eyed a paperweight for at least five minutes before deciding against it. Over the past few days I’ve been thinking how I really want to upgrade my luggage/traveling bags. How stylish would I look traipsing into Salt Lake City for the Alt Design Summit next week toting this Ravine bag along my side? (I realize it would get smudged and dirty, luckily there are also mauve and black to choose from!) I know, I know. Who am I kidding, my packing list would never all fit inside, but a girl can wish.

Another great collaboration from Threadless just hit the table. This time they teamed up with Baggu to release ten limited edition Duck Bags, each sporting a design from the Threadless design community. These bags are heavy duty and super strong. I love all things tarnished, maybe I equate them in some way with myself. I’m not quite sure. What I am sure of is these authentic coin necklaces from etsy shop oatie’s and how much I like them. Which is to say, lots.
