A City of Magazines.

Aside from simple unfinished-wood magazine holders, these are likely the only ones I would allow to adorn my shelves. Together this series of illustrated holders creates an entire city block of different styles and periods: Jugend, Renaissance, Gothic Stle, etc. Designed by Happy Forsman & Bodenfors and illustrated by Klas Fahlén for The Swedish Museum of Architecture, the magazine holders are only available for purchase through the Museum Shop. How beautifully tragic!

i do wish that they were sized slightly different so as to accomodate square-sized mags as well…but that’s okay. 😉
