Win It: Vinyl Wall Art.

The week immediately following a long weekend is always endlessly long. So what better way to start it off than with a new contest?

Vinyl Wall Art has a great variety of wall decals for both adults and kiddies and I was thrilled when the lovely Holly contacted me about doing her first ever contest! The winner will receive an XX-Large matte black owl decal (15 x 23″). What I love most about this design is that it’s perfect for either a fun corner of your home or a child’s play space. The rules are simple. Leave a comment telling me where you would put the decal if you won. Does your reading nook need updated? Having a baby and need to complete the nursery? You tell me. But do it by noon CST this Thursday, July 10, 2008 because that’s when I’ll choose the lucky winner! (Sorry, but this particular contest is only available to those who live in the United States.)

If you visit vinylwallart.com between now and July 31st you’ll also receive free standard shipping on all orders over $100!

Oh! we could really use this. We have a large flat screen sitting on a table with a lot of blank space above it. This would be a great way to make the area look a little less serious. I will promise to post before and after if we get it.

Oh my daughter would love this! She is two and knows tons of animal sounds and will even correct us if we “neee” instad of “neae”. The owl was one of her firsts. This would go next to her table in the living area of our hosue were she draws and colors. It would fit our modern decore quite well.

I know EXACTLY where this would go. I’m currently redecorating my daughter’s bedroom — she’s a cute little treehugger, so we’re doing a bird and tree themed room! This little owlie would be just perfect in there!! Fun! Thanks for the opportunity!!

Oh my goodness….if I could win, I would surely feel like it was Christmas in July!!!!! I’ve been wanting to try some of this vinyl wall art and now I would…just twist my arm….have to!?!? Drats! :))) Birds are my favorite!!!! The hard part will be it actually determine the best place because selfishly, I want to make sure that I benefit the most…be seeing it daily. BUT…it is perfect for one of our guest bedrooms….however, it may have to come to work with me (!) or be in my utility room with my birdhouse collection. See my dilemma???

What a great contest….thanks for the opportunity!

LOVE IT! I’d put it on a 5ft wall that I have in my studio (I’m a photographer) so that I could photograph kids against it!

This is sooo cute! Here’s why I need it: (and I promise I am NOT making this up). I just found out that I am pregnant a couple weeks ago (shhh dont tell!) and I looooovvvveeee owls, and so I have already decided that my future baby is going to love them too and I am going to have an owl themed nursery! I already bought one of those owl bla bla dolls (check them out blablakids.com). Hooray for owls!

Ooh, I’ve had my eye on this baby for a while! I would, without hesitation, stamp this baby on the wall above my desk. I love owls, I love the black decal and I would love to create an on-the-wall organization system around this baby. So cute! Crossing my fingers… 🙂

This would be wonderful in my apartment. I am a poor graduated grad school student, with a ridiculously nice apartment and lack of funds to decorate it. I have a huge white wall(with nothing to go on it) in the middle of my living room that it would be perfect on, and also on an opposing wall I have a hot pink picture of an Owl, so they could be friends!

We moved into an old Baltimore rowhouse just this week and are decorating like crazy. It has beams and exposed brick that would work nicely with this decal. I would definitely put this little guy in our office, where I already have one owl figure from my grandmother’s owl collection and another owl that was my other grandmother’s Christmas ornament. All I need now is my own owl to complete the bunch!

I love owls! I would put it in the living room over the sofa, so that it keeps a watchful eye over us and the room!

How cute! I have an extra room in my house that is currently full of my grandparents’ old dining room set and grandfather clock. When my parents’ new house is completed in early fall and they bring these heirlooms with them, I will be transforming this room into a library/office. I think an owl would be especially appropriate – a wise animal watching over the room full of books! I’d put him behind the door so he would be a hidden surprise for anyone who is looking for details.

Too cute! We have a blank wall in our baby pink living room. Our furniture and other art is all black and white so a black owl would be perfect!

This would fit nicely on the wall of my new vintage store set to open next month. It’s named “Blue Owl Vintage.”

    I want, I want.
    I need, I need.

I will place the Owl decal on the big window behind my kitchen sink! So every time I look “outside” (I don’t have the best view out of my kitchen window) I will see a cute Owl with a heart shaped face and flowers for eyes “whoooooo”-ing back at me. Bonus: It will make me smile every time a clean a dish!

When I was a little girl my parents gave me a stuffed animal of an owl to sleep with in my crib. It has stayed with me for my entire life, going wherever I went…. when I traveled, when I went off to University, when I was in the hospital, when I moved into my first house, everything. Every child photo I have is of me with the owl. Last Christmas, I was the victim of an arson and I lost everything in my house… including my stuffed animal. I have looked everywhere on the internet to find a duplicate but it just doesn’t exist anymore! I would love to have this owl on my wall in my craft room… it’s perfect!

Oh, this is so cute! I would put it on the wall in my entry way. “Entry way” is a very loose term as I live in a 1 room studio, but it’s amazing what you can do with a bookshelf and some imagination.
