May 1, 2009 at 5:59 pmthis is fantastic. i love the k.derby. it is the one time a year you can find me jumping up and down in my living room like a wild banshee. it’s on my list of top 5 to see – ahead of all the usual suspects. but, i priced it a few years ago – way too expensive right now with three kids. one of the most amazing things i have seen in my 41 years: afleet alex nearly biting it and going on to win big. seriously, it’s an analogy, if not metaphor for all of us trudging through life. great post.
