Posted In createBecause sometimes it’s nice to give yourself an award for just getting out of bed in the morning. Especially on a Monday.
Posted In paper goodsThese rose gold astrology necklaces from Kimberly Baker are beautiful. I love the way the chain loops through the top of the pendant to hang. I think this is already on my birthday list for next November.
Posted In jewelry, wear itI’ll be heading off to Salt Lake City at the crack of dawn tomorrow for Alt Summit. But don’t fret my pets, I have plenty of posts lined up for you while I’m out of town. I’ll also be tweeting away, so make sure you’re following me on Twitter if you want to hear all of the awesomeness that’s happening. Bonjour!

Should the day ever come where I’m married with kids of my own this is the sort of family photo I want. Something that feels a little Royal Tenenbaums meets J.Crew. Lori Andrews is a genius. {via poppytalk}
Sometimes the fastest and most furious of designs turn out to be the truest. I designed these cards for myself in about fifteen minutes flat last Monday after realizing I needed some new ones for Alt. Instead of going all in with the Design Crush logo, I opted to focus on my name while staying true to the fonts used in the logo. I then had them printed on some really nice matte cardstock. I’m really pleased with the end result.
Posted In create, graphics, shameless plugIf I ever have reason to hire a personal shopper specializing in jewelry it’s going to be Alyson. She finds piece after piece of jewelry that I drool over and dream of. This Pyrite Angular Bracelet from Lady Grey is only one instance. Lovely, no?
Posted In jewelry, wear itI thought I left graphic sweatshirts back in the early ’90s with my stirrup pants and scrunchies. This one might be changing my mind.

It’s that time of year again, the time when I sit down with all of my bills from the past year and get to shreddin’ before I get all of my tax documents together to ship off to the accountant. (Yeah, I don’t do that myself. Can you say audit?) I don’t care that my arm might fall off from the cranking on this manual model, it’s so much prettier than the electric clunker I own!
