Thomas Mailaender / Illustrated People

 

For his book Illustrated People, French artist Thomas Mailaender combined original negatives and powerful UV rays from a lamp. The result was a series of fleeting images on the skin of 23 models that Mailaender captured in photos before they disappeared.
