Crushing on visual artist Bryce Wymer’s beautiful black and white objects. (Those bowls and vases!) And if you hurry up and order, you’ll receive a free print with your order, too. SOLD.
Posted In create, painting, sculptureSometimes concept pieces have a way of breaking your heart when they aren’t available for sale. I’m crazy for Wig, a white ceramic vase by Tania de Cruz that allows the user to create insanely artistic headdresses through the placement of florals and greenery.
Posted In concept, createI’m completely intrigued by this project. Brand Spirit takes away all personality and just leaves functionality behind, right down to the design of the site.
“Brand Spirit: every day for 100 days, I will paint one branded object white, removing all visual branding, reducing the object to its purest form. Each object may be purchased for less than $10, something I own, something another person gives me, or something I find.”

tale’s Moon Glass is designed for enjoying traditional rice wine. But here’s the beauty in it, fill the ceramic glass and as you drink it reveals a full moon, half moon, and crescent as the liquid level descends. It comes in both black and white – enjoy rice wine and sake in the black and colored alcohol and tea in the white. (via Design Milk)
Posted In grand design, house and home, kitchenI love a good collection, make it a good color specific collection and I’m positively giddy (re: nerdy). These postcards from Kontor Kontur would be right at home on my wall.
Posted In create, paper goods, photographyDo I want to see the The Hunger Games when it comes out this Friday? Oh yes. Did I nerd out and read all three books over the holidays? Yup. Loving this print from Entropy Trading Co., whether you’re a fan of the books or not the message is perfectly positive.
Posted In create, graphics, paper goods, printsLoving this California Gold print series from Lab Partners that features natural wonders of California printed in black and gold metallic ink. Even better? Five percent of all sales will be donated to the California Nature Conservancy.
Posted In create, graphics, paper goods, printsYou’d like to be a better photographer, right? If you answered yes, I have just the thing for you – Souvenir Foto School! And luckily, we happen to be giving away a spot that could have your name on it.
Souvenir Foto School is a 5-week online course put together by Miss B. of Besotted Brand Blog, a fantastic photographer in her own right. All levels of photo know-how are welcome to join in on the fun, in fact you don’t even need a real camera because your camera phone will do. Crazy, yes? The goal of the course is to improve your skills with photo challenges by using time tested techniques. Put your new-found skills to work for crafts, your Etsy shop, or new photos of your cat – the world shall be your oyster! You can read all about the course right here, you can even sign up if you’re the impatient type like me. Classes start April 1st!
To enter, leave a comment:
1. Tell me why you want to become a better photographer!
2. Leave a valid email address.
3. Do it all before Monday, March 26th at 12am CST. One entry per person.
Winner will be chosen at random using Random.org. See full giveaway disclosure and rules here.
Congratulations to #18 Jessica!
