When I first saw these ads and promotional pieces for the Sydney International Food Festival all I could do was shake my head up and down and smile. Because they’re just so flippin’ clever I didn’t know what else to do. And then I went and ate lunch. {via Wide Open Spaces}
I love, love, love the concept behind Sharon O’Connor’s MusicCooks – 15 themed collections of recipes with an accompanying CD of music to listen to while you’re cooking that matches the mood of the food! The recipe cards are sturdy and easy to clean, while the music features Grammy-award winning musicians and Sharon herself among other artists.
Thanks to Sharon and her lovely daughter, Claire, I have two collections to give away this week – Coffee Treats and Chocolate Bliss! Coffee Treats features muffins, scones and quick breads to enhance your coffee time and Brandenburg Concertos to tickle your eardrums. Ant then there is Chocolate Bliss which is just that, a chocolate lover’s dream come true! Seductive Bossa Nova music is paired with it to put you in the mood for romance.
To Enter: 1. If you were to create a cookbook, what recipe that you make would have to be included as the star? 2. Leave your email address so that I can contact you should you win (those who do not will be disqualified) 3. Do it all before Tuesday, October 13th at 9am CST
Two winners will be randomly selected shortly after the giveaway closes. Best of luck!

Although I’m nowhere near Long Beach, California I thought I’d show off Sweet & Saucy Shop anyway. Their custom desserts look beyond delectable and I’m drooling over their gorgeously designed site. If you’re in the area swing by and say hello to owner/head pastry chef Melody Brandon. And don’t forget to pick up a treat for my sweet tooth, too!
“Mallard is a specialist tea company which sells loose leaf tea through its shop and tearoom in Knutsford. The mix and match branding is inspired by the eclectic feel of the establishment which is quirky, eccentric and unmistakably English.”
Really digging the packaging of the Chocophilia line from Kerstin’s Chocolates. If you stop by the actual store – The Cocoa Room – in Edmonton, Alberta you can even participate in chocolate tastings and classes!
Time for a dose of local Oklahoma City in the best possible form: candy from Fat Daddy Sweets!
Aside from having just about the best name ever, Fat Daddy Sweets also has some of the tastiest chocolates and caramels I’ve ever tried. You can take your pick from Dark Chocolate Truffles, fancy Fleur de Sel caramels and peppermint patties among others. Check out the shop for more varieties, samplers, boxed favors and shipping information. (And don’t be afraid to ask questions either – there’s a very accommodating lady behind the biz!)
Peter Gregson Studio redesigned the packaging of juice bottles and jars for delicacy products coming out of the Sopacani monastery in Serbia. All of the products are all natural and organic, the designer stayed true to them by using all handwritten labels. Lovely work.
No better way to start the morning than with some lovely eye candy (er, chocolate?). Take a look at Kshocolat. Lovely, modern packaging courtesy of Marque Creative.
