Gifts: Musical Fruit.

Love these pieces of wooden fruit. When you wind them up the apple plays Bacharach’s What the World Needs Now Is Love and the pear croons Chopin’s Nocturne. The apple would make the perfect teacher’s gift, dontcha think?

(Did anyone else start singing “Beans, beans, the musical fruit…”? No, just me? Okay, then.)

Coin Storage.

With the holidays only a hop, skip and a jump away I’m doing some major penny pinching. Between flying home to Pennsylvania and buying and shipping gifts my bank account is on a major diet. Every penny counts and I’d love to have one of these Coin Storage banks to keep track of them all. It’s actually a bank/tray combo, so you can set your keys or cash right on top. And when it’s time to empty out, just pop off the bottom lid and you’re all set! {via Better Living Through Design}

Happy Weekend.

Wouldn’t you love to be spending at least one night of your weekend here? That tent is beautiful. Whatever your plans are I hope you have a grand time! I’ll be going to the OU/Idaho State game (Boomer Sooner!) and whipping up some tailgating treats.

Happy {Labor Day} Weekend.

With this being Labor Day weekend and the unofficial end of summer, the seasons are about to start changing. And with that a few things are getting rearranged around here as well.

I asked and you answered – Mad Props will now be included in my end-of-week Happy Weekend post. That means weekly roundups of goodness instead of monthly! It also means that the This Weekend: section of the post will be relocating itself to the Monday Goodness post. Got all that? Good.

And don’t forget to enter The Honey and Pig Shop giveaway before Tuesday morning at 9:00 CST! You have a change to win an adorably frilly hair piece.

Marquee Alphabet Lights.

Marquee Alphabet Lights have been making their way around the blogs for the past few weeks, but with my own K collection I had to post about them, too. These letters are freakin’ amazing and would be a great addition to my Ks. Were I to buy one it would find its home on the wall in my entry way!

Harry.

I completely and totally 100% heart Harry. I’d love him to be in charge of my favorite necklaces and baubles!

“Harry’s fun, unconventional yet functional design will creatively hold and organize your everyday, conventional stuff. His 100’s of flexible and sturdy wire “hooks” will allow you to form them to fit your needs, providing the foundation to creatively organize and hold your stuff. Just mount Harry or Harry Jr. securely to the wall or other flat surface using the provided suction cups or screws.”

Heather Frazier Mobile.

Dear Santa,

I’ve been pretty good for the most part this year.

I flipped the minimal amount of people off on the roadways (and those I told were #1 deserved it I might add). I cut back on Happy Hours. And that one day when my cat, Peanut, got stuck in the coat closet for ten hours? Totally his fault.

So if you could just maybe consider putting this Heather Frazier Mobile under my tree this Christmas I’d be very thankful. Especially because I’ve already decided exactly where it will go.

Love,
Kelly
