Since I consider myself somewhat of a fortune cookie aficionado, these porcelain versions of the crispy treat caught my eye. They’d look great piled in a bowl as a centerpiece or as place-card holders. Just don’t try to crack one open because there aren’t any actual fortunes inside!
Adrift Mobiles bring a quiet peace in a modern form to any space they’re placed in. All mobiles are designed and crafted by Brian Schmitt in his San Francisco workshop. I’m not very traditional, so I’d love to use one in a nursery (one day that is!) in place of a cutesy mobile.

The Pyreness Wood Block is great design with a purpose. To use just break a match off the block and scratch it along the base of the block to light. What I really like that the look is ever-changing as you use more and more of the 100 matches.
Why did it take so long for angled frames to come into existence? Such a simple idea that makes so much sense.

Love these miniature Hay vases. The simply pottery with the downplayed graphics are just my style.
Now this key holder is just clever. In fact, I think it’s the only one I’ve seen that I’d consider actually using. That’s saying a lot because I’m not even a use-a-decorative-bowl kinda gal for my keys. I’m more of a leave-em-in-my-purse-and-search-endlessly chick. Besides, I’d feel compelled to use it so that guests wouldn’t ceaselessly ask what it was for.
Anthropologie’s done it again with these chemistry lab vases. I love their versatility, you could use them in any room for quite a few things. I might even go a little crazy and use them for alcohol or pre-mixed drinks at a get together.
These Quote/Unquote Bookends designed by Eric Janssen are my dream bookends. I’ve been lusting over them for well over a year now and feel my defenses wearing thin. I love what they imply with all those books lined up in between.
These red berry vases are drop dead gorgeous. I love the simple shapes in vibrant red against that stark bone china. Pricey, but perhaps worth a splurge?? A beautiful way to bring some color to winter at any rate.
