The second I saw these kicked up modern friendship necklaces on HonestlyWTF I knew I had to make them for a few ladies in my life. The first batch included eight, although there are a few more waiting to be made and sent on their happy ways. Each one used colors that matched my friends individual personalities and styles, so much fun. Easy too, I think each one took me less than two hours to make. Here are a few of the unknowing models…

Dare I say the quilting world is in danger? I desperately want to make this rainbow quilt (AKA wedding quilt) and have never used a needle and thread without drawing blood. I’ve always been proud to be a Scorpio and taken pride in the fact that I match up with the profile of the sign quite nicely. So when I thought (for a few days) that I might be a Libra, well, I started wondering how exactly one goes about changing a tattoo of a scorpion one might have on one’s foot into Libran scales.
