An architect’s multitiered supply caddy inspired this vintage carousel organizer. My desk would look so hot with one of these adorning it. Not to mention that it would make things that are stuffed away in drawers a lot more accessible.

I want two Boby Trolleys oh so very badly. One for my office at work and one to store all sort of crafty-designy things in at home. They’re just so darn modular and cute, not to mention that they can store a ton.
Each of these little stainless steel architectural figures is smaller than a paperclip (1:1500) and designed for adding detail to architectural models. The detail is astonishing, you can even recognize features and attributes of the figures. Love that they come in those little pop-out sheets. So MINI-esque.

The Pock-It is a brilliant little piece of paper. Basically an updated Post-It, the Pock-It has adhesive on three sides creating a portable little pocket that you can post just about anywhere. Why did no one create these sooner?!
Aside from simple unfinished-wood magazine holders, these are likely the only ones I would allow to adorn my shelves. Together this series of illustrated holders creates an entire city block of different styles and periods: Jugend, Renaissance, Gothic Stle, etc. Designed by Happy Forsman & Bodenfors and illustrated by Klas Fahlén for The Swedish Museum of Architecture, the magazine holders are only available for purchase through the Museum Shop. How beautifully tragic!
Show me a label or tag and I can’t say no. It must be some sort of genetic programming malfunction (that way it’s unavoidable – at least that’s what I tell myself).
These adhesive tags made out of regular old printer labels are the imaginative work of Etsy shop Remake. Remake is “dedicated to making things using salvaged materials.” That just makes their work all that much the better. I mean, they could have gone out and just bought whatever. But they didn’t. They made something that otherwise would have been wasted work. I love that.
Their shop is a little low right now, but check back often because they’re always restocking it with something new and amazing.
Posted In officeBusiness cards intrigue me for a number of reasons. I love that each and every one (no matter how well designed – or not) is a little keepsake. Something that gives someone or something an identity. I love that of all the graphic pieces out there – and there are so many – business cards have become something that society chooses to express and communicate themselves through. And there is so much more. I’ve kept a collection of cards that stand out to me visually or functionally for as long as I can remember.

I have a thing for address files of all shapes and sizes and have been coveting this vertical rolodex at Pottery Barn for a while now. There’s just something about the vertical orientation and carousel-like organization along with the shiny chrome that does it for me.

The process is never ending and your plans for world domination can procede in an organized fashion. Besides lined and blank notebooks they also carry planners. The pockets are also really handy for storage if you’re not linking the books together.
