Lotus Bleu.

Lotus Bleu is a great little shop I only just found that has a unique selection of contemporary art and home décor imported from France and Southeast Asia – be sure and check out the lacquerware. This desk chair would be perfect in front of my red desk along with the mint lacquered lamp on top. So cute!

Digital Beverages.

Who doesn’t want their own personal bartender? Didn’t think I’d see any hands in the air. I know I could use a drink or ten after the sort of week I’ve been having (whew).

Digital Beverages combines the awesomeness of the internet with a beverage dispensing system. There’s even an online recipe generator for creating your own concoctions. Yea! And it just looks so damn cool.

The Conran Shop.

I’ve heard a lot about The Conran Shop in the past, but only recently became a fan. Now I’m left wondering what took me so long. The accessories are what really set me off, as well as the fact that so many great pieces are quite affordable. I’m loving these silver tea sets, metal canisters, votive holders and red tray. These pieces are so timelessly chic.

Café pelé.

The Café pelé espresso cup by designer Julie Pfligersdorffer is both beautiful and innovative. I love her idea of making the handle part of the espresso cup by peeling it off of the vessel. Of course, this also means that you can only fill the cup about halfway…

IRONWINE.

They put wine in a box ages ago – what took them so long to can it? IRONWINE comes to us in 12 oz. cans (almost half a bottle!) and two varieties – Malbec Cabernet Sauvignon and Chenin Blanc. Each can comes equipped with a special lining that keeps the wine – and its flavor – unchangeable. I love how portable this makes the tasty beverage – wine at a picnic, wine at the game, wine at McDonald’s…

George.

I really, really, really want a dog. Every single time I drive by the dog park in my neighborhood I about wreck my car because I’m so busy staring out of the window at how many dogs are in the park/what types of dogs are in the park/if there are any breeds that I really like in the park. It’s pathetic and I’m sure the other drivers near me when I drive by will agree, thankful that they are escaping with their cars intact once again.

For now I tend to entertain my notions of a four-legged friend by perusing canine accessories. No, I’m not the sort of pet owner who dresses up her companions. I’m just the sort of pet owner who likes the things that come with having a pet: the bowls, the jars, the tags, the toys.

I discovered George and their high quality pet products (yes, dogs and cats) during a trip to San Francisco about five years ago. It’s been a tale of love and slight obsesseion ever since.

Apple Pie Design: Wall Decals.

And the wall decal frenzy continues. I don’t know if I’m the only one, but I just don’t get tired of seeing new designs. Maybe it’s the ability of being able to customize something as structural and permanent as a wall with minimal commitment. Whatever the reason my latest discovery is Apple Pie Designs – and it just may be my favorite thus far. I’m totally digging the branch decal most of all.

Halloween Tags.

Halloween is my absolute favorite holiday and I’m a fool for all aspects of the Big Day. That includes goody bags and presents which friends and co-workers fall prey to each and every October. And these apropro seasonal tags from Bluebird Lane would be a great final touch. Make sure and check out Bluebird’s Etsy shop because there are many, many more styles of tags to choose from.

Lagrange 34.

Lagrange 34 is this beautifully crafted chocolate from Torino, Italy (which is coincidentally somewhere I’d love to visit before my last day). The new line of chocolate products combines traditional quality and a contemporary design approach. Currently there are six different designs to choose from. Lagrange 34 prides themselves on exploiting chocolate as a design medium. Love it! Can you frame chocolate?

Wingback Lounge Chair.

Love this wingback lounge chair at West Elm. Between the high back and deep chocolately-brown color I’m sold. I can see myself curled up (it’s winter and gently snowing outside in case you’re wondering) with a glass of red wine and a book I can’t put down. Unfortunately Roxy and Peanut would most likely spend more time it than me.
