The Daily Eat: Capellini Caprese.

I really do enjoy cooking and baking, but most weeknights after work I really just want something easy. Which is one reason I look forward to getting my quarterly issue of Kraft Foods magazine. It’s always busting at the seams with really good, fast recipes that are also healthy. This one for Capellini Caprese is in the latest issue and I can’t wait to try it out. YUM!

The Daily Eat: Eton Mess.

Continuing with our short week of indulging, I give you the Eton Mess. Made traditionally from cream, strawberries and meringues, this version is kicked up a little by infusing the cream with orange. It looks ridiculously tasty and debaucherous and is begging for someone to dig in!

The Daily Eat: Campfire Cream Puffs.

Because this only a two-day blogging week for me I didn’t want to dedicate The Daily Eat to any one thing. And when I saw these Campfire Cream Puffs this morning I knew I had to post about them ASAP. A kicked up version of your ordinary s’more, these tasty treats employ pre-made biscuit dough in the place of graham crackers. I’m a little worried that if I made them I’d eat the entire tube of biscuits myself!!!

The Daily Eat: Key Lime Dream Ice Cream.

I really envy people who have the knack for just creating recipes out of the blue. Like the creator of this Key Lime Dream Ice Cream had been making tons of key lime pies this summer and thought “What the hay? Let’s turn it into some ice cream.” I can’t do that. But I’m very, very thankful for those who can!

The Daily Eat: Cinnamon Raisin Bagel Ice Cream.

The craziest thing about this Cinnamon Raisin Bagel Ice Cream is that there are, in fact, no actual bagels harmed in the making of it. There is an incredible mix of two ice cream flavors – cream cheese and cinnamon – as well as Jack Daniel’s-soaked raisins and an option to top the finished product with bagel chips. Sounds like something I might create after a night of drinking, um, hot cocoa with friends.

The Daily Eat: Banana Pudding Ice Cream.

This week we’re going to dabble in a bit ‘o ice cream making. I’m not the biggest ice cream eater out there (shhh!), but even I would be hard-pressed to turn down any of these drool-worthy, creamy concoctions.

What’s your favorite flavor out there? With so many to choose from I still tend to head for old favorites like mint chocolate chip.

If ice cream were a warm, fuzzy blanket this recipe for Banana Pudding Ice Cream would be the knitting instructions. YUM.
