Monogram Disc Necklace.

An understatedly simple personalized piece is something no girl’s jewelry collection should be without. This piece would be the perfect addition to mine! The disc is 1/2″ in diameter and available in five different font choices: Roman, Circle Monogram, 5 Line Fancy, Helvetica and Wedding. Now yellow gold isn’t really my thing, but it’s also available in white gold from what I can gather.

Contagious Jewelry.

I stumbled across Etsy shop Contagious Jewelry last week and am absolutely smitten with her organic feeling pieces.

She says it best. “An advocate for the small and forgotten, the displaced and discarded, I find the act of adorning oneself with these objects to be empowering. Each component of the natural world is beautiful, from molecules passing through the walls of cells to toxic mold, from single-celled organisms to deadly viruses. By embellishing ourselves with the forms we take for granted or are too afraid to think about, we celebrate ourselves and our place in the world around us.”

Win It: Freshie & Zero Handcrafted Jewelry.

I’m so pumped this morning to tell you about Design Crush’s very first ever contest – Win It: Freshie & Zero Handcrafted Jewelry!

I discovered Beth – aka “Freshie” – and her work last October at The Girlie Show here in Oklahoma City and knew I had to have a piece of her jewelry. I took home a simple halo necklace and since then swear I wear it more than any other piece because it’s just so pretty and goes with everything.

Now I get to pass on the awesomeness that is Freshie & Zero to you! Beth was incredible enough to donate not one, but two pieces for the contest – a lula necklace and matching simple lula earrings. Not only that, but the lula necklace is a one-of-a-kind with tanzanite, aquamarine and freshwater pearls! So, so pretty.

Since this is Design Crush’s first contest the entry rules are going to be pretty simple and basic. Drop me a comment at the end of the post. You have until 12:00 p.m. CST this Friday, March 7th. That afternoon I’ll have someone else randomly choose a winner! Check back that afternoon to see if it’s you and we’ll go from there.

Dawes Design.

I love both the mindset and product behind Dawes Design. The pieces are both beautiful and timeless and I love that they can go either dressy or casual – mixing it up is a must in my book! Not to mention the stackability factor. And could that product photography be any better??

Jennifer Dawes is a rural Northern Californian who has distilled her knowledge of metalsmithing into an exquisite line of jewelry. Each piece is handmade, fabricated and finished at Jennifer’s studio in the coastal hills of Sonoma County, California. She only uses recycled gold, conflict free diamonds and responsibly mined stones. Everything is made locally and sourced using sustainable businesses that use recycled products.

Fingerprint Wedding Bands.

Andrew English is the contemporary British mind behind these hand-engraved fingerprint wedding bands. I’m absolutely in love with them, they’re so intimate and unique that I can’t help it. They are technically wedding bands, but I wouldn’t mind having something similar with my best friend or my mom. To me they just symbolize that everlasting bond so perfectly.

Kelbelle Designs.

I’m thrilled to have found etsy shop Kelbelle Designs. I have a huge love of cocktail rings and one of my nicknames happens to be Kell Bell, so I’m pretty sure it was meant to be. The designer works mainly with metal, glass, beads, precious and semi-precious gemstones. The rings also feature triple sterling silver hand-hammered bands. So, so pretty. The big decision is which one do I get??
