Another example of great design at work. It seems like this lemon squeezer at j-me would be perfect for putting a few drops of lemon in your tea or on your salad. Not to mention I think it would make measuring a breeze.
Wild Bunch & Co produces 100% organic cold-press juice made exclusively to order for bars, restaurants, healthcare centers, spas and resorts. If you happen to live in Singapore – where it’s made – home delivery and catering are available.
I’m not so much interested in that side of Wild Bunch & Co. (although I will take organic when and where I can get it). What I am into is the package design. I love the simple black and white sans serif type on that amazingly functional bottle, not to mention the vibrant colors of the juices themselves.
Born and raised in Hong Kong, Felix Fu creates tiny watercolors that capture life through Felix Doolittle. Each piece is like a miniature work of art in which an English influence is evident. Fu’s signature style includes full color illustrations and quality heavy paper.
My favorites are the wide selection of bookplates and food labels. I know at least one person on my Christmas list who will be getting a set of these come December!
This resin homeware by Dinosaur Designs is amazing. I can just imagine throwing some sort of backyard get-together with this dinnerware as the focal point. The collection is extensive so check out the full line.
I will agree that NECCO Wafers are pretty to look at in all their pastel glory, but I for one cannot stand to eat those disks of pure sugar. They literally make my teeth hurt. That’s why Baltimore-based artist Denise Tassin’s beautiful and intricate drawings on the wafer itself is an amazing use of canvas space to me. Tassin uses a variety of pens, including fine-tipped Sharpies, to create miniature works of wonder in her Sole NECCO collection. Tassin has a wide range of inspiration she reaches to for her drawings – from scientific diagrams found in biology books to dolls and Santas. After the mini-art is complete, it’s repackaged and sealed for sale.
Love these minimal, type-only cards from Letter Pressed. I found it interesting that the owner used to work in desktop publishing – maybe the reason for the word heavy design?
Everyone has excess coffee mugs in their cabinets – it’s like they breed in there. I’m no exception, but think I could make room for a few more if they were these sleek designs over at tabletools.
Left to right: Bormioli Rocco Oslo Cafe Ware espresso cup 4 for $16.99, Bormioli Rocco Roma coffee mug and saucer 6 piece set for $24.95, WMF Kult Coffee collection $17.95.
After waking up too late to dry my hair and spilling coffee on myself ten minutes after arriving at work this card is the highlight of my day. Enjoy. (Thanks to Monoscope.)
It seems everyone has been posting about Elum’s gorgeous new paper products over the past month. Not too be a copy-cat, but I have to join the group because they’re that incredible. Check out these letter sets, journals and gift bags! I’m feeling the yellow and white journal, it just may have to be mine.
