Posh Betty is full of fresh, modern, custom-designed announcements, business cards, invitations and letterhead among other things. Everything has a clean, retro feel to it which I adore. I think the brown invitation would be so much fun for a cocktail party.
I’m totally after these new finds at Crate & Barrel. I’ve been looking for a glass cake plate for a little while and this is the first one I’ve found in my price range ($39.95). I also love these chunky resin napkin holders ($2.95 each) and the Tripoli Server ($49.95) which looks so modern-elegant.

The rough, blocky, mod-ish qualities are what initially struck me about Angie Lewin’s work. I love the textures which seem to almost jump off the page at you, they almost feel tangible. Angie is a printmaker out of the UK who specializes in linocut, wood engraving and collage. You can see more of her work and purchase prints on site. She also has an interesting blog – All Things Considered – worth checking out.
The genius store Tiny Living was created as a response to New York City’s cramped living conditions by a husband and wife team who have spent many years living in cramped NYC apartments- one of which was a studio that measured a mere 200 sq. ft.! Tiny Living offers a range of cleverly designed, affordable items that are small in scale, multi-purpose, flexible or organizational.
Row 1: reusable single cup coffee filters, wall wine rack, stainless steel cheese slicer;
Row 2: magnetic stainless steel cylinder, stackable mugs, chrome over-toilet magazine holder
I love a good list. Listography is a site devoted to just that. You can make your own lists on just about anything and check out everyone else’s at the same time. Some that I spotted this morning: Guily Pleasures, Fictional Men I’ve Loved and Attack of the Sweet Tooth.
My friend, Jen, sent me this link this morning for Rootbeer Float cupcakes. I had to pass it along because I don’t want to be the only one drooling on my computer this afternoon. Pick up the recipe here at YumSugar.
I haven’t come across a lot of information about artist Chad Kouri, but I’m in love with his collage-like art. He also has some pretty awesome logos on his personal portolfio site. Check it out for some Friday eye candy.
I think this tarted-up teapot and cosy from Trixie Delicious over at Etsy is amaaaaazing. So of couse, that means that they are sold out for the moment. The teapot is a collaboration between Trixie Delicious and Esther Lamb of toggle.etsy. A two cup vintage-inspired department store teapot has a naughty girl makeover while the tea cosy is stunning in pink satin and black lace with a sexy vintage lingerie inspired design. The teapot has a pop in strainer and the cosy is fully lined in pink cotton to keep your tea warm.
I saw this and need it after the week I’ve had. I’m sooo glad it’s Friday. However, even though this week has been my Best Week Ever, it’s still about equal to a good week at my last job. So all in all, not that horrible I’m thinkin’.
(The Designers’ Prayer is the genius work of Selina Hull.)
