I’m not a big ice cream person (shutter!) but I’m a huge fan of these stainless pieces by designer Hisakazu Shimizu and Sabo Studio. Especially the ice cream spoon which is a replica of those horrible, nasty tasting wooden spoons of your childhood. And the pop-up lid on the cup is the best touch.

Posted In tattoosI’m digging this Three Tier Wall Jewelry Stand. Pretty sure I’d be using the bottom row of hooks exclusively for scarves and small bags though instead of necklaces. It’s just too perfect.

Posted In accessories, house and homeTruth be told, I never saw what the big deal is about caramel or candy apples. I mean, the gooey parts get stuck behind your front teeth and underneath it all, well, it’s just an apple. Then I saw CHOW’s version of Tricked-Out Caramel Apples and totally get it…

Check out the instructions for creating a Holley Portrait on Daniel Eatock’s site. I’m totally doing this…
Write a short text about yourself (300 words min / 500 words max) include interests, likes, dislikes, future plans etc. Using black ink make a careful print from your thumb. Enlarged your black and white thumb print to approximately the size of your face. Using a clean sheet of A3 paper, handwrite your text following the contour lines from your thumb print (you can use tracing paper, or thin copy paper) Final result: You should have a combination of your own words, in your handwriting, in the pattern of your finger print forming a personal self portrait.
