Free Encouragement.

I’m all about spreading the love. Because honestly nothing makes you feel better about yourself and than making someone else’s day. Or even just making them smile.

That’s only one of the reasons I’m digging Free Encouragement postcards, a collaboration between Booooooom and Design for Mankind guaranteed to knock out negativity. Head over to their shop to pick up a set or two and admire the works of collaborating artists like Jen Collins, Gemma Correll and Dennis de Groot! Check out the background story here.

My Valentines.

This year I decided to go old school with my valentines. As in the cut and paste variety. About a month ago I bought the sweetest plate at Target featuring these two little love birds and decided to rip off the idea (*gasp*). But rest assured that the actual pattern making, cutting and pasting were all the work of yours truly!

Able and Game’s Valentines.

Even though I hadn’t yet seen these snazzy valentines from Able and Game when I posted the roundup, these totally deserve their own shout out. Loving the descriptions for each card! (No worries, they’re blank on the inside.)

Description:
So I got your mix tape, it kinda rocked my world. The fact that you included The Smiths, The Cure makes me all warm inside, however this may not show on my sullen, depressed face. Oh and I also love Kate Bush by the way; just don’t tell any of my friends.
Description:
Okay, I have a confession to make; there is nobody else on the list!
Description:
You’re All Sorts of Lovely. You wash my clothes; cook me my dinner and rent Bring It On on DVD when I’m feeling unwell.

Description:
How else, besides getting married are we going to prove our love? Signing both our names on an 18-month interest free loan says you’re in it for long haul baby. The only thing we need to decide on is front loader or top???

Roundup: Valentines.

I waited. And then waited some more. And now that February is here I’ve officially jumped on the V-Day bandwagon.

Is it a Hallmark holiday? Yes.
Does it make singles feel crappy? Yes.
Is there tons of cute stuff everywhere? Yes.

This year that last one won out. Take a look at all the pretties out there!

Round Up: Christmas Cards.

I was trying to hold off on this Christmas Card Round Up for as long as possible because I keep seeing more fantastic designs each and every day. But I thought I’d better get it posted before everyone’s cards have already been stamped and sent! Well what are you waiting for? Take a look!

Give Studio.

Last week the lovely Anne of Give Studio emailed me about her fantastic new line of paper goods. Really gorgeous designs and perfect color combinations awaited my eyes and I became an insta-fan!

Amy Smyth Made It.

Amy Smyth of Amy Smyth Made It is a lady after my own heart. She’s got attitude. She loves design. And she’s got a knack for combining the two. Not to mention she’s an awesome illustrator. What else can I say – Amy’s the entire creative package. Check out her extensive line of paper goods here.

Offensive + Delightful 2008 Collection.

The brilliantly tongue-in-cheek Offensive + Delightful has just rolled out their new collection for 2008 and it’s as delightful as expected. Designer Olga Krigman always has the best lines. Maybe it’s because she’s Russian. Or maybe she’s just a real firecracker. Either way, I’m glad she shares it all with us. The bold, graphic designs are just a sweet, sweet bonus.
