Melissa Maya Pottery is all handmade in Denver, in the artist’s garage in fact! I love it when creators are completely transparent about their processes, don’t you? Maya’s work is perfect parts minimalist and modern, and I’m anxious to get my hands on a piece or two of my own.

Hope Bird

The Hope Bird collection is a limited edition collaboration between designer Jaime Hayon and Design-Apart. Each one of the fifteen cheeky ceramic birds is absolutely identical in shape and size, but hand-painted in a unique design using gold and black. The entire collection is a representation of hope and an optimistic future.
