Lumnique Candles.

A few weeks ago I received a lovely candle from Allison at Lumnique in the mail. The first thing I noticed was the packaging, which was more like a presentation. Because upon opening the sleek black box I was greeted with a personalized note telling me all about this amazing-smelling candle – the perfect vanilla – that was created just for me.

In fact, you’re in charge of choosing not only the scent but the color of your candle as well. Its then hand-poured to your exact specifications. I love that the entire process is so personal, way more meaningful than just plucking a candle off a shelf. Each candle even comes with its own box of matches – so sweet!

The Japon jewelry box looks like a mini-boom box circa 1980s. And it would be equally at home in my office organizing supplies as in my closet organizing jewelry. Dual-functionality always get extra points from this girl.
