Babel.
Babel is genius design. I know that I always have important scraps of paper on my desk that get misplaced. I think this just might inspire me enough to get organized and show off my scraps in style!

Vanilla has quite possibly begun to take first place over chocolate in my mind. Because that’s my biggest concern in life. Wait, what? It’s not yours? I hope you work out some of your priorities during Vanilla Week.
Rum and vanilla are such a comforting combination. The warmth of the rum, the spice of the vanilla. Yumminess is sure to ensue with these Rum-Drenched Vanilla Cakes.

Posted In recipesNot sure I’d put the Everything Holder in my shower because I’m extra weird about shower gunk and nastiness. But I’d love to have a few in the kitchen to catch utensils and tools that I use a lot. The tiles are available in black, white and red and attach with a few pieces of double-sided adhesive.

Straw and Hay Pasta looks like the perfect dish for the first weekend of spring. Plenty of veggies, but plenty of cards to be comfort food! This take on the recipe replaces the prosciutto normally called for with sliced mushrooms.

Posted In recipesYou’re finally here! I’ve been waiting. Now if only you could hang around until fall shows up and we can skip summer altogether that would be grrrrreat. Thanks.

Ravioloni Dolce is a slightly different take on pasta thanks to the addition of lemon thyme and the recommendation that you serve them with honey, taking them down the road of sweetness. Sounds tasty!

A lot of people have never heard of pierogies, or little pasta pockets filled with potatoes and/or other ingredients. But for me pierogies mean childhood. My grandmother used to make them with fried onions and brown butter and have always been on my list of favorite meals. I’m anxious to try out this version of Pierogies with Brown Butter and reminisce a bit.

Posted In recipesOut of sight, out of mind. Brilliant design from Jonas Trampedach.
Where Do tea bags go to die?. Usually squashed on the side of the saucer next to the cup, or if you have a little less decorum the table will probably be just fine. Jonas Trampedach has been observing the behaviour of tea drinkers and has evidently been learning a lot. Consequently he has developed a solution to the bag dilemma that is as simple as it is ingenious. With the ‘Tea bag Coffin’, the drinker can tidily bury the bag under the cup and out of the way. RIP.

I love lemon with my pasta. It’s so unexpected and fresh. And bacon makes everything taste better. So surely the broccoli must add the “healthy” factor to this Lemon Fettuccine with Broccoli and Bacon. Well, that’s my rationale and I’m sticking to it!
