I didn’t get to post as much as I would have liked this week with being sick Monday and being swamped at work most of the week. (Damn the Man!) That really just means that next week’s posts are going to be totally awesome and rad. Seriously.

This Weekend:
• hopefully unpack the last few boxes (NOTE: this does not mean I’m done moving in any, way, shape or form!)
• laundry, baby
• J’s farewell party
• A’s Screw Being 30 Bash
• house decorating
• maybe some shopping tossed into the mix somewhere if I can swing it!

Happy Weekend.

Wow. That’s all I can say about the past week because it has been one ginormous blur. I know I keep saying it, but I can’t thank you all enough for all the warm wishes, congratulations, advice, etc. It’s made the house buying process that much sweeter! I promise to be more focused next week, but in the meantime have an amazingly beautiful summer-filled weekend.

This Weekend:
• um, unpack more: finish kitchen and move on to living room
• buy shelving for the garage (holy crap – I have a garage!)
• find better (RE: more modern) house numbers
• sleep, cause I haven’t been doing much of that

Happy Weekend.

I’m heading out early today because I get the keys to my house! Which means that Painting and Moving In can commence starting this afternoon. Woohoo! I’ll be taking Monday and Tuesday off to get a few things settled and some unpacking done. See you Wednesday!

This Weekend:
• paint, paint, and paint some more
• finish packing
• have refrigerator delivered and installed
• have two ceiling fans and one light fixture installed
• MOVE!
• unpack all those boxes that I’ve been so busy packing…
• collapse from exhaustion

Happy {July 4th} Weekend.

I’m mentally crashing with the long weekend just around the bend, so I thought I’d better get this last post in before it slipped my comatose mind. I hope you all have a lovely 4th of July weekend and I’ll see you back here Monday bright and early!

• hang out with E by the pool
• hit up some fireworks with C

Happy Weekend.

Thank you all so, so much for your help in choosing kitchen chairs! The NORDMYRA won out by quite a few comments, so I’ve decided to go with them. Tomorrow I’ll be roadtripping it to the IKEA in Frisco, TX (roughly 2 hours in the car each way, so not too bad) and making my purchases. I have my list made, but it always seems to go out the window once I walk in the doors of that blue and yellow wonderland. Inevitably something I wanted lets me down and something else (or ten) catches my eye. Such is the IKEA Gamble!

This Weekend:
• IKEA
• even more packing
• mailing packages to K, K and M
• picking up my $50(!) lawnmower
• laundry, definitely laundry
• grocery shopping for lunches

Happy {Father’s Day} Weekend.

My afternoon is going to be consumed by client meetings, so this is it for the week.

This weekend:
• buy a refrigerator
• find a Father’s Day gift for my step-dad
• buy plane ticket for 10 year HS reunion in September (eek!)
• laundry (ugh)
• and hopefully a little leftover time to sun by the pool – with sunscreen of course!

Happy Weekend.

Another week. Gone. These days I’m just happy to be getting that much closer to the closing date on my house – July 9th! So on top of the weekend being here I have that to look forward to with the passing of time.

Yesterday I bought a shower curtain for the master bath. I got it at Target, but can’t locate it online to share with you! It’s from the Thomas O’Brien Vintage collection and a simple white seersucker design. I’m thinking the master bath is going to be all white linens with the only color being the paint on the walls. Don’t worry, I’ll update you once that decision is made. It’s one of the toughest so far!

This weekend:
• sand/paint my china cabinet – seriously this time
• find/buy Father’s Day gifts and cards
• a large-scale paper project (that I’ll share with you next week!)
• enjoy the sun by the pool
• take photos of the flowers I planted this week

Happy Weekend.

This 4-day week felt longer than your average 5-er which makes me that much happier to see the weekend. It’s been filled with lots of work-work, house-buying legalities and not much else. The next few days should be fun though.

• head out on the town with the girls tonight
• sand/repaint china cabinet (been meaning to do this for awhile now!)
• look for a cool ceiling fan for the master bedroom
• buy a honeymoon shower gift for Kristy
• mail a long overdue birthday box to Kim
• maybe some baking goodness
• and um, laundry

Happy {Memorial Day} Weekend.

Just working on some last minute projects that need wrapped up before the much needed 3-day Memorial Day weekend. Looks like much of my time will be spent going back and forth making an offer on a house (eek!). I promise to share more information – and excitement – as things begin to unfold.
