A Brief Message.

I’ve been reading A Brief Message religiously for the past few weeks. ABM features design opinions in 200 words or less, the topic changes every few days, as does the author and illustrator. The most recent – Arrogrance and Humility – was written by Clay Shirky and illustrated by Louise Ma. I always like seeing what other have to say about the industry and digging into the mentalities of those within.

Monday Goodness: On My Desk.

This afternoon, as I eat crumbs of leftover granola bar off of my desk, I bring you the awesome blog On My Desk. It’s not too difficult to explain – basically you email in some photos of your studio or office and a rundown. The best ones get posted and everyone gets to gawk over your immaculate (and sometimes not so immaculate) space. Have at it.

This is the most organization I’ve ever laid my eyes upon and am in awe of the sheer amount of plastic drawers. Fantastic!

Bone Collector.

I’m not normally in the habit of collecting cast plastic chicken bones, but these wishbones that Design*Sponge posted about from Etsy shop somethingshidinghere are fantastic. The printed bag includes three wishbones and is 4″x6″ with a draw string closure and made of 100% woven cotton. The whole sha-bang will cost you $8.

Monday Goodness: Listography.

I love a good list. Listography is a site devoted to just that. You can make your own lists on just about anything and check out everyone else’s at the same time. Some that I spotted this morning: Guily Pleasures, Fictional Men I’ve Loved and Attack of the Sweet Tooth.
