Finally

I’ve been chugging along with my iPhone 3 for a few years now, and to say it was dragging would be a bit of an understatement. Half of my apps wouldn’t even work on it any longer because the phone couldn’t handle the updates. So last weekend I pulled the trigger and upgraded to the white 4S. And it’s amazing, but you probably already know that. Uncommon was kind enough to send me this case by artist Marco Cibola a few months ago, and I may have been more excited to finally have a phone to put the case on than to actually have the phone! It’s beautiful.

Jump, Jump

There continues to be more and more well-designed USB drives the less and less I have need for them. I might make an exception for these, however. The Empty Memory jewelry collection also doubles as USB memory sticks.

Clap Your Hands is a USB drive/camera. Yeah, you read that right. It shoots 2-megapixel photos and video and doesn’t get much easier. (via Design Milk)

Fireplace

Confession: I’ve owned my home for 3.5 years and the pilot light in my living room fireplace remains unlit. Total and utter laziness on my part. Maybe I can just download Ted Martens digital fireplace and put my laptop on the hearth instead?

Win It: Diana Mini

Photography has always been one of my favorite art forms, one big reason being that it’s so easily accessible to just about everyone. I’ve been lucky enough to create my own little collection of cameras over the past twelve years or so, but one that was missing was a Diana. A Diana shoots lomography-style photos, heavy on color and saturation. I’ve been playing around with a white Diana Mini for the past month or so, and having a blast. And guess what? You’ve got a chance to win one of your own from Lomography!

How to enter:
1. Click here and sign up for the Lomography newsletter.
2. Pop back over here and let me know!
3. Do both before December 11th at midnight EST.

As a little treat, sign up for your own LomoHome page and get $10 to use in the Lomography online store! You can also check them out on Facebook and follow them on Twitter.
