Peak Sled.

It’s under 70ยบ here today for the first time in about seven months. Surely that means winter is coming, no? The Peak Sled from Design Within Reach will have to entertain me visually until the snow falls. You know, one of about ten times a year that happens here in Oklahoma. I do love the basket weave seat design and ash wood design – a great simplistic Shaker look.

Grilliput.

Maybe it’s that summer won’t seem to die this year.
Or that I like cooking outside. Bugs and all.
Or perhaps I’ve developed some sort of mini grill compulsion.
Yeah. It’s most likely that the last one.

I love the Grilliput. I even love the name. Say it, it’s too much fun. The design is so sleek and pure. It’s form and function in a dishwasher safe package.

Fold Flat Barbeque.

I want one. Pronto so I can have it around for the weekend Labor Day festivities.

The Fold Flat BBQ is brilliantly designed, packs super thin and opens up to provide a 45 x 30cm cooking area. Solidly made from pressed steel, the sides provide a built-in wind break. Since it’s so portable you can head out any time you like to BBQ your little heart out. What an amazing contraption that’s so well thought out. And only around $40.

Billbirdhouse.

I’m completely infatuated with Bom Design’s billbirdhouse at the moment. Because 1.) I love when products are a reincarnation of some other product (um, obviously billboards in this case) and 2.) I love when things are one-of-a-kind, which these defnitely are. No two could ever match. You can pick one up at Bom Design for 40 euros.

Popoutz Birdfeeder.

And this isn’t even related to my recent bird obsession. I love the modern-simplistic look and feel of these Popoutz birdfeeders. And get this: you can buy them here for only $1.80 each. Ridiculous. They’re made out of 100% recyclable polypropylene plastic and come in six vibrant, bird-attracting colors.

pare*umbrella.

I’m a day late (and a buck short) but think these umbrellas by pare*umbrella are incredible. If it were raining again today I can totally imagine dancing and swinging around streetlamps while swinging one around.

Bike Gear Windchime.

A pretty sweet idea from Make magazine for a bike gear windchime. I know quite a few ex-BMXers who would love one of these! Click here for a complete set of instructions.
