I adore Tea forte and now they’ve out with the innovative idea of Tea-Over-Ice. Hot tea is steeped in the upper pitcher, then immediately poured over ice in the lower pitcher for the freshest brewed iced tea possible. Quite the presentation.
See the resemblance between the radiator mug and under the hood of your car? Thought so. The ridges in the mug help to keep your hand from burning off while drinking hot beverages.
Needless to say, with an iffy stomach I haven’t been able to drink any of my mandatory coffee for the past few days. And it’s killing me! I’m pretty sure I’d at least feel better about it if I had the La Sorrentina coffee machine to gaze upon. What a beautiful example of form meeting function – love the steam nozzle hanging off the back!
I don’t collect wine labels. But I am guilty of snapping photos of them with my cell at the liquor store, much to the chagrin of anyone accompanying me. There’s just so, so much good design and inspiration on those little stickers that I can’t resist!
The label on the back of Oxford Landing’s wine bottles is brilliant. Tear the little tab off of it as either a reminder of wine you liked and want to buy again or as a keepsake for the occasion. Smart design at work, my friends.
That’s right folks, Privacy Urinals. Two words I never thought I’d actually type together on my blog. But when looking at design you need to be unbiased, so there you have it! Thanks to designer Mark Rock the boys (no pun intended) can enjoy a little more coverage and great design at the same time.
The Plantorb is fantastic! The hanging ceramic orb is 8″ in diameter with a 28” long woven sisal cord. As much as I would love to plant something in this, I think I would love even more to hang one inside my front door to throw my keys and sunglasses into when I get home.
Love the VÅJÖN plant stand in IKEA’s spring collection. The three 18.5″ planters are actually a removable part of the 32″ tall piece. I probably need a few of these and since they’re at IKEA I can actually afford them – yea!
Meet CB2s modern version of the Luxembourg gardens chair – the Buena Park Bench. Park yourself closer to the ground, slouched in laziness with the sun shining on your face. Rust-proof with really pretty ivory cushions in moisture and mildew-resistant spun polyester. Buena park chair also available to match.
How pretty would this look perched on a kitchen windowsill?!
Sagaform’s Trio Herb Pot is a simple solution to prolonging the life of your fresh herbs. Simple and practical design, this ceramic pot is an ingenious way of enjoying fresh herbs much like flowers: insert a bunch into the opening, and keep hydrated by pouring water into the corner hole. The broad base ensures that all stalks have access to water, while allowing air to circulate so herbs keep from becoming limp and waterlogged.
